Lets face it – I love Juna Biagioni’s work!

“Lets face it” is an online course that starts January 4th, 2016 and runs for 45 weeks. I am so joining this journey no matter what. Not only is it themed around my favorite thing in the world to draw and paint (faces), but one of my all time favorite artists is part of it.

In this course you will create lots of faces: front faces, three-quarter views, profiles, and even some bodies. Each teacher will share with you strategies, tips, and techniques that they use in order to create faces and portraits.

The teachers have different styles, from whimsical to more realistic, so you’ll get a taste of all these ways to create faces and eventually develop a style that is uniquely your own.

Juna’s lesson is a profile portrait. The picture below shows som of her previous work in side view. What’s not to love here?

Sometimes when I admire artwork , my heart aches. It aches because I want to be able to create something as beautiful as the the art in front of me. Juna Biagioni is an artist I admire beyond words. From the first time I layed eyes on her work I knew I had to learn how to paint like that. Her work is soft and her faces full of expression. It’s hard not to fall in love with her work. <3

So… If you are into drawing and painting faces, you might want to join this awsome class too.
